Byron Knief

Byron Knief is a managing director at Court Square Advisor, the successor firm of Citicorp Venture Capital. Mr. Knief has been in charge of the firm’s mezzanine debt funds since 1988. In this capacity, he has raised a series of funds and has invested several billion dollars, realizing a combined unlevered IRR of 15 percent. Prior to this, he was with Citicorp for over twenty years, serving in a variety of assignments in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe. Mr. Knief has a BS degree from Northwestern University and an MBA degree from Columbia Business School.
