Under this demonstration, Virginia will pursue a broad and deep transformation of the Commonwealth’s delivery system to ensure a comprehensive continuum of addiction and recovery treatment. Services will be based on the American Society of Addiction Medicine Patient Placement Criteria, including withdrawal management, inpatient and outpatient treatment, and long-term recovery supports.
