Milbank Memorial Fund Board of Directors Elects Three New Members

The Milbank Board of Directors is pleased to welcome three new members elected at its May 17, 2022, meeting: Kelly Major Green, Joneigh S. Khaldun, MD, MPH, FACEP, and Anya Rader Wallack, PhD.

Kelly Major Green, CIMA®, is a financial advisor and institutional consultant at the Chicago office of Graystone Consulting, the independent consulting division of Morgan Stanley. With over 22 years of executive leadership and client advisory experience in the management consulting, marketing, and non-profit industries, Ms. Green is a member of one of the largest institutional consulting practices at Morgan Stanley. She was recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business as a “Woman to Watch” in 2010 and “40 under 40” in 2005.

Joneigh S. Khaldun, MD, MPH, FACEP, is a nationally recognized health care executive and health policy and public health expert who currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer for CVS Health. In this role she advances strategy, programs, and policy to achieve health equity across all CVS Health lines of business. Prior to this she served as Chief Medical Executive for the State of Michigan and chief deputy director for health in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, where she oversaw public health, Medicaid, behavioral health, and aging services. She was the lead strategist guiding Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s COVID-19 response and in 2021 was appointed by President Biden to the COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force.

Anya Rader Wallack, PhD, is Senior Vice President for Strategic Communications for the University of Vermont Health Network (UVMHN) and Chair of the Board of OneCare Vermont, a statewide accountable care organization that serves more than half of Vermont’s population in multi-payer value-based payment models. Prior to joining UVMHN, Dr. Wallack was Associate Director of the Center for Evidence Synthesis in Health and a professor in Brown University’s School of Public Health. Dr. Wallack’s served previously in Rhode Island state government as Director of HealthSource RI, Rhode Island’s health insurance exchange, then Medicaid Director, and then Acting Secretary of Health and Human Services. She also served in Vermont state government under two governors.
