Keanan Lane

Keanan Lane is a senior manager at the Peterson Center on Healthcare, where he manages a portfolio of grants that build analytic capacity to improve affordability, value, and performance of the US health care system. Before joining the Center, Keanan was a health policy researcher for Mathematica and worked on numerous projects to provide technical assistance, evaluate health programs, and develop analytic products. At Mathematica, Keanan guided the rollout of analytic tools for the Medicaid and CHIP Business Information Solution (MACBIS) initiative and worked on the national evaluation of 1115 demonstrations for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), leading reviews of state progress towards physical and behavioral health integration and value-based payment. Previously, he managed health care reimbursement and contracting for provider groups and was a health policy fellow for Congressman Jim McDermott. Keanan has a Master of Public Policy degree from Georgetown University.
