Emerging Leaders Program

The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) seeks to develop practical, hands-on leadership skills in future senior executive and legislative officials to help them addressing the challenges and opportunities in today’s complex health policy environment. Modeled after Milbank’s Reforming State Group (RSG), the program offers these promising young leaders valuable learning and networking experiences. The one-year program also provides a unique opportunity to build a network of colleagues from across the country who share the goal of improving population health.

The ELP includes at least three in-person meetings, virtual training sessions, and a pairing with an RSG mentor. To participate, individuals are nominated by RSG members from their home state.
