Louisiana State Senator Brach Myers is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for a national health care company based in Lafayette that provides services in more than 40 states and employs more than 30,000 workers nationwide. As both a state senator and a former state representative, Brach brought his business experience to the Louisiana Legislature and put innovative ideas into law that will help create jobs and prepare the state’s workforce for the needs of a 21st century economy.
In Baton Rouge, he’s worked to cut needless regulatory red tape, lower taxes for hardworking families, and keep streets safe from violent crime. Brach is a respected leader on critical issues such as insurance reform, health care, education, and energy. A dedicated civic leader, Brach is committed to giving back to his community. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Boys & Girls Club of Louisiana Alliance and is a board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana, the Community Foundation of Acadiana, and the Episcopal School of Acadiana.
