Medical Director, Community Affairs and Population Health, Child Health Advocacy Institute at Children's National Health System
Danielle G. Dooley is medical director of community affairs and population health in the Child Health Advocacy Institute at Children’s National Health System in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Children’s, she was a pediatrician at the Georgetown University Student Health Service and worked for 10 years at Unity Health Care, Inc., a nonprofit organization in the District of Columbia that is a federally qualified health center. She was the medical director of adolescent health services and five school-based health centers. She received a BS degree in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MPhil degree in community health from the University of Edinburgh as a British Marshall Scholar, and an MD degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons as a National Health Service Corps Scholar. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Children’s Center.
