Yoon Hong Park

Yoon Hong Park, MPP, is pursuing a PhD in health policy at the Milken Institute School of Public Health. His areas of research interest include policy evaluation, health disparities, and the social determinants of health. Before joining the Mullan Institute, he worked as a graduate research assistant at the Center for Spatial Data Science, participating in two research projects: 1) quantifying the neighborhood-level social determinants of health in the continental United States, and 2) creating an open-data dashboard that maps each air-quality indicator in the City of Chicago that could affect public health outcomes. He earned his master’s degree in public policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and his bachelor’s degree in international affairs and political science from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University.
