Dr. Tiffany Joseph is Associate Professor of Sociology and International Affairs Program at Northeastern University. Her research explores race, ethnicity, and migration in the Americas; immigrants’ health and healthcare access; and the micro-level impact of public policies. She is the author of Not All In: Race, Immigration, and Health Care Exclusion in the Age of Obamacare (Johns Hopkins University Press 2025) and Race on the Move: Brazilian Migrants and the Global Reconstruction of Race (Stanford University Press, 2015). She has received grants from numerous foundations, and her research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals and national media outlets.
