The Milbank Memorial Fund is a private foundation that works to improve population health and health equity.
Susan Babey, PhD, co-directs the Chronic Disease Research Program at UCLA’s Center for Health Policy Research and serves as a senior research scientist. Her work, spanning the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and the Department of Health Policy and Management, focuses on chronic disease prevention and the social drivers of health. Dr. Babey leads studies on health disparities, food insecurity, and access to care for underserved populations.
