Sara Debab is a policy analyst at the Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy where she supports projects within Medicare transformation, federal health care policy, and North Carolina Medicaid. Sara’s experiences span across a variety of health care payment and delivery topics, including Medicare risk adjustment, accountable care and value-based payment models, Medicaid program and benefit design, and broader sociopolitical determinants of health. Prior to joining Duke-Margolis, Sara was a policy intern at Aledade, Inc., and a research assistant in the Kalpulli Research Group at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Sara holds a BS in interdisciplinary science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
