Monica O’Reilly-Jacob

Monica O’Reilly-Jacob, PhD, APRN, is an assistant professor of nursing at the School of Nursing at Columbia University. She is a family nurse practitioner and nationally recognized nursing health services researcher, with a focus on the primary care nurse practitioner (NP) workforce, value-based payment models and (re)emerging delivery system innovations such as NP-owned practices and NP home-based primary care. A nursing health services researcher, Dr. O’Reilly-Jacob provides evidence to support policy changes that maximize the capacity of the NP workforce to meet the demand for primary care in underserved areas. She holds a BSN from the University of Portland, an MSN from Boston College, and a PhD in Social Policy from Brandeis University.
