Maddy Hraber

Maddy joined NASHP in June of 2023 as a research analyst on the Behavioral, Population, and Public Health team. She works on various projects related to substance and opioid use disorder, immunizations, and public health response efforts. Prior to joining NASHP, Maddy interned at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, where she was involved with support and research in the subject areas of substance use prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery. She has also interned at the Food and Drug Administration, supporting outreach to states on FDA policy issues, and the National Institute on Drug Abuse, supporting the development of small businesses and innovative programs to advance addiction care. Maddy holds a BS in public health from George Washington University, with a concentration in pre-health and a minor in sustainability.
