Katherine Ahrens, PhD, MPH, is a Principal Health Data Analyst at Onpoint Health Data, where she conducts advanced statistical analyses informed by 20 years in public health research focused on child and maternal health, opioid use disorder, and Medicaid programs. Previously an associate research professor at the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine, Dr. Ahrens also has held appointments at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Population Affairs. She holds graduate degrees in epidemiology from both Boston University and the University of Michigan as well as a BA in biology from Harvard University.
