Emily Hawes

Emily Hawes, PharmD, BCPS, CPP, is an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and associate professor of clinical education at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She provides collaborative drug therapy management in a family medicine clinic in rural North Carolina. Her research focuses on team-based primary care, health workforce policy and graduate medical education program development in rural and underserved areas.
