Deborah J. Cohen, PhD, is a professor and vice chair of research in the Department of Family Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. A mixed-methods expert and implementation scientist, Dr. Cohen evaluates how and why interventions succeed or fail in changing healthcare organizations and outcomes. Her work focuses on primary care transformation and the impact of state and federal health care policies.
