Alida Austin is a policy research assistant at the Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy, where she supports projects on integrating health and social care, improving care systems for older adults, and state health care transformation. Prior to joining Duke-Margolis, Alida worked at the National Network of Public Health Institutes to support public health evaluation projects. She earned a bachelor’s degree in public health and political science from American University.
