The Milbank Memorial Fund is a private foundation that works to improve population health and health equity.
State Representative, Missouri
Tara Peters has represented Phelps County (District 122) in the Missouri House of Representatives since November 2022. Tara is a dedicated public servant who has served in a variety of leadership and volunteer roles with organizations that work to promote the well-being of families, children, and seniors. While representing Phelps County, Tara has been an advocate for rural and women’s health care, sponsoring various bills across her tenure. During her time as the President of Rolla Junior Club, she helped raise funds to purchase playground equipment for a city park and provide scholarships to deserving students. She also helped provide financial support and opportunities for retired senior volunteers through her service as a board member for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
In addition to her role as a legislator, Tara is a realtor and business owner. She and her husband operate Pete’s Pumpkin Patch at LedgeLand Acres Farm, an agri-tourism destination that welcomes families and school-aged children from across the state during the fall.
