Health of US Primary Care Scorecard Primary Care Transformation

Primary care clinicians can help guide people through our health care system and toward better health. Yet historic underinvestment and projected workforce shortages threaten the positive impact that primary care can have on people’s health.

On February 22, 2023, the Milbank Memorial Fund and the Physicians Foundation hosted the virtual release of the first national scorecard on the health of US primary care. The inaugural report provides a long overdue measurement tool to track the implementation of high-quality primary care nationwide.
