Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy, Chief Medical Office, TennCare
Rebecca Robinson, MPH, serves as Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy for the Chief Medical Office at TennCare, Tennessee’s Medicaid agency. She leads cross-functional strategy and implementation for statewide health initiatives, including Rural Health Transformation, value-based payment reform, and behavioral and maternal health investments. Rebecca designed and led implementation of Tennessee’s first-in-the-nation Medicaid diaper benefit, which improves access to an essential health-related resource for young children and families. Before joining TennCare, she worked with the Tennessee Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, developing statewide pediatric quality improvement and behavioral health programs in partnership with providers and health systems. Rebecca brings a deep commitment to public service and to translating community and provider perspectives into practical, equitable policy solutions. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Tennessee. Rebecca enjoys spending time outdoors, especially camping and hiking with her husband and two pups.
