Nathan T. Chomilo, MD, is the Medical Director for the State of Minnesota’s Medicaid and MinnesotaCare programs and practices as a general pediatrician with Park Nicollet Health Services/HealthPartners. Nathan’s work centers marginalized communities in health policy, so that we can dismantle racism in health care and provide children and families an equitable opportunity for health and well-being.
Prior to working for the state, he was also an internal medicine hospitalist. He is a member of the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s Equity in HEDIS Expert Work Group and served as the State of Minnesota’s COVID-19 Vaccine Equity Director and as a senior advisor on equity to the Minnesota Commissioner of Health. Nathan is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School and an Ascend Fellow at the Aspen Institute.
