Kaden Schultz, PharmD serves as the Director of Pharmacy for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s Division of Medicaid, where he oversees the delivery and administration of Idaho Medicaid’s pharmacy benefit. He uses a strong blend of community clinical practice and operational leadership to serve Idahoans.
A graduate of the Idaho State University College of Pharmacy, Kaden began his career in pharmacy management. Kaden quickly moved to pharmacy operations, where he implemented clinical initiatives, executed quality programs, and improved operational metrics across pharmacies in the west. Bringing his expertise to public service, Kaden now leverages his clinical and operational insights into evidence-based health policy. As Pharmacy Director, Kaden focuses on process improvement, modernizing benefit delivery, and streamlining pharmacy policies to optimize pharmaceutical care delivery and improve health care outcomes and access across Idaho.
