State Representative, Hawaii
Representative Takenouchi was elected in 2022 to serve House District 27. She is the vice chair of the House Committee on Health & Homelessness, working toward expanding mental health and substance abuse treatment initiatives, addressing health care workforce shortages, and supporting Hawaii’s aging population of seniors. Rep. Takenouchi also sits on the House Committee on Finance and House Committee on Human Services and is a member of the Kupuna Caucus, Keiki Caucus, Equality Caucus, and Women’s Legislative Caucus.
