Hayley Piazza is a Master of Public Health student at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where she studies health policy analysis. Her interest in health policy was shaped by her experience registering students to vote on her college campus and working as a Health Research Training Program (HRTP) intern with the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, where she supported efforts to expand access to health insurance across the five boroughs. Hayley is passionate about building a career in health policy and advocacy, with interests in health insurance access and Medicare and Medicaid policy. She hopes to advance policies that expand access to care for underserved communities. She graduated magna cum laude from Pace University, where she earned a BS in Health Science.
