The Milbank Memorial Fund is a private foundation that works to improve population health and health equity.
Susan Kelly-Weeder, PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN, is dean and professor at The George Washington University School of Nursing. She is a nationally recognized leader in nurse practitioner education who has shaped primary care practice, education, and policy through national and international NP initiatives. Her recent scholarship examines competency and degree standards for NP education. She previously served as president of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties. She holds a BS in nursing from Simmons College and an MS and PhD in nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
