Stephan R. Lindner, PhD, is an associate professor at the Center for Health Systems Effectiveness (CHSE) in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University. His research focuses on state Medicaid policies for people with substance use and mental health conditions. His work has been published in leading health services and medical journals, including Health Affairs, Health Services Research, JAMA Health Forum, and The Milbank Quarterly. Dr. Lindner received his PhD from the Department of Economics at the University of Michigan.
