Robert Rock, MD, serves as the clinical director for the Bureau of Bronx Neighborhood Health within the New York City Department of Health. Dr. Rock is a practicing family physician, health services researcher, and health professional educator dedicated to using medicine as a means to social justice. His work exists at the intersection of interdisciplinary health professions education, clinical medicine, and public health, developing initiatives that realize structures conducive to flourishing for historically oppressed groups.
