The Milbank Memorial Fund is a private foundation that works to improve population health and health equity.
Hilary Barnes, PhD, NP-C, FAANP, is an associate professor and director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at the Jack & Nancy Dwyer School of Nursing at Widener University. She is a nationally recognized health services researcher who examines the role of the nurse practitioner in improving care delivery and outcomes and has specific expertise in role transition and support for novice nurse practitioners entering clinical practice. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She holds a BA in German-economics from Skidmore College, a BSN from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MSN and PhD in nursing science from Widener University.
