Bernard Ewigman

Bernard Ewigman, MD, has practiced family medicine, taught at all levels of medical training, and had a successful career as a physician scientist. He served as a lead investigator and member of the executive committee of the Institute for Translational Medicine at the University of Chicago, funded by a Clinical and Translational Science Award grant from the National Institutes of Health. His clinical practice experience has spanned rural, suburban, and urban settings. He has served as a medical director of two practices and in a county public health department. He has also served as an academic and clinical chairman and as member of clinical executive committees and boards of directors in academic settings and in large community-based health systems.
