Suzanne Wikle was elected to the Kansas House of Representatives in 2024. In her first term, she spearheaded legislation that makes Narcan more available, championed Medicaid expansion and brought a floor amendment to force a vote on the issue for the first time in four years, and advocated for universal school meals, a child tax credit, and a renter’s tax credit. Prior to running for office, Suzanne worked for nearly 20 years advocating at the state and national level for policies that improve the lives of children and families. She is an expert on health and human services issues, including Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, and nutrition assistance. Suzanne has a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s of social work from the University of Kansas.
