State Representative, Minnesota
Representative Kristi Pursell has spent four years in the Minnesota House advocating for rural Minnesotans. Her advocacy directly stems from her lived experience as a rural farmer, which gives her first-hand insight into the hardships of the farming community. During her first term she served as the Vice Chair on the Agricultural Committee, where she advocated for policy and funding for private wells to provide healthy and safe drinking water to Greater Minnesota. Last term, she served on the Health Committee, where she worked to protect access to rural health care. Kristi knows that consistent access to safe and healthy food and water, and all forms of health care, is essential to everyone’s quality of life.
