Webinar: Focusing Hospital Affordability Policies on the Haves and Protecting the Have-Nots

As states seek to tackle increasingly unaffordable health care, evidence points to hospital spending and prices as major contributors. Drawing on a recent Peterson-Milbank Program for Sustainable Health Care Costs report, this webinar will: 

• Describe how states can focus their commercial market affordability efforts to impact highly resourced hospitals and health systems without endangering hospitals that would struggle to implement such policies   
• Explain how states can identify hospitals within each group, using existing public analyses and state data where available, and offer lessons from experienced state officials
