Division Director, Community Access and Eligibility, Iowa Department of Health and Human Services
Erin Drinnin, MSW, is Community Access and Eligibility Division Director for the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services. In this role, she oversees 1,200 employees in the Child Support, Economic Assistance, Community Action, and Refugee Services teams, which help connect Iowans to public assistance benefits, direct financial resources, and other supports. Erin earned a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Iowa. She has 20 years of health and human services experience with policy analysis, community outreach, program development, and team leadership.
