Program Officer
Erica Brown is a program officer at the Milbank Memorial Fund. In her role, she manages the Fund’s activities focused on identifying, informing, and inspiring state health policy leaders, including through the Reforming States Group and Emerging Leaders Program. She has previously held policy roles in state and local government, including with the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and the Office of the Harris County Executive. Prior to joining the Milbank Memorial Fund, Ms. Brown also served as a director of public health for Arnold Ventures, a philanthropy dedicated to tackling some of the most pressing problems in the United States. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Massachusetts and a master’s in public policy from Brown University. Ms. Brown is passionate advocate for the use of data and evidence to inform public policy.
